How does White Elephant work?
Everyone brings one wrapped gift. In number order, each player opens a new gift or steals one already opened; a player who loses a gift picks again. Many groups lock a gift after it has been stolen three times and give number 1 a final swap at the end.
Is the draw really random?
Yes. The order is shuffled in your browser with its secure random number generator, so every order is equally likely and nobody can predict it. Nothing is sent to us or saved.
How many players can I add?
Up to 200. Repeated names are counted once, so add a last initial to tell two people apart.
Can each guest get their number before the party?
With Party Games on an RSVPlinks event ($6 or 1 credit, free events included), guests join on the RSVP form, numbers are drawn from your guest list and emailed to each player, and the live screen calls them in order at the party.
