Questions

Do I need an account to design a postcard?

No. Pick a template, add your words and see the front and back as they print, with nothing to sign up for. Sign in (free) when you want to save the card, add photos and addresses, and have it printed and mailed. Your draft carries over.

How much do postcards cost?

Postage is included. A 4×6 postcard is $1.99 for 1–24 cards, $1.79 for 25–74 and $1.59 for 75 or more. 6×9 cards run $2.79 to $2.29 and 6×11 cards $3.29 to $2.79. Cards on a paid event get up to 20% off, never below $1.55 for a 4×6. International 4×6 cards add $1.50.

How long do postcards take to arrive?

Cards usually arrive 6–8 business days after the mail date, printing included, so plan on a week and a half. A card we mailed on a Monday was delivered the Tuesday of the following week (6 business days). Cards go USPS First Class, the fastest class for postcards; international cards take 5–7 business days longer. The builder shows the arrival window for your mail date before you pay.

When should I mail save-the-date postcards?

Mail save-the-dates 6 to 8 months before a wedding (8 to 12 for a destination wedding) and 2 to 4 months before most other events. Add 6–8 business days in the mail, and pick the mail date up to 180 days ahead: the cards print and mail on that day without you doing anything else.

Can a postcard carry my RSVP link?

Yes. Every card can print a QR code that opens your RSVP page, so guests scan the postcard and reply from their phone with no app and no account. The QR code can point to any other link instead, such as a registry or photo album.

How do I know when my cards are delivered?

The order page tracks each card from printing to in the mail to delivered. We email you when the order goes to print, when the first card reaches USPS, and when the last card is delivered, and right away if a card comes back, with that guest's name and address.

What kinds of cards can I send?

Save the Date, Invitation, Change the Date, See You Soon, Thank You, Holiday, Birth Announcement, Graduation Announcement, Moving Announcement, Just Because. Each starts from a template made for it, with your event's photo, colors and fonts, and everything stays editable.

What are card packs?

When you buy or upgrade an event plan you can add packs of 25, 50, 100 or 150 4×6 cards at $1.55 each, our lowest price. With 50 or more pack cards you get 10¢ off the plan per card, up to 50%. Packs wait on your event as prepaid cards to design and mail whenever you like; unused cards are refunded at $1.55 each, less the plan discount they unlocked.

How do I collect my guests' mailing addresses?

Turn on the mailing-address field on your RSVP form, import a spreadsheet or your phone's contacts (vCard), or share a request link by text, email or QR code. With one click we email every RSVP'd guest who hasn't shared an address yet, and addresses that come in join your card order automatically.

Can I print the cards myself?

Yes. With any paid event plan you can print at home or at a copy shop for free: exact card size with bleed, or two 4×6 cards per letter sheet with crop marks, one card per guest if you like. Printed cards have no address on them, so they are ready to hand out.
