How it works

  1. 01Say who the gift is for and what you're buying. Add a goal and a date if you like.
  2. 02Add how people pay you: your Venmo, PayPal, Cash App or Zelle.
  3. 03Share the link. Everyone picks an amount, taps to pay you with it filled in, and joins the list.
  4. 04Mark each payment received as it lands. The bar fills up, and everyone sees how close you are.

Questions

What is a group gift?

One gift many people pay for together: a coworker's farewell, a teacher's end-of-year present, a friend's birthday. One person organizes and buys it; everyone else chips in what they like.

Does RSVPlinks handle the money?

You choose. Free: everyone pays you directly with Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, Alipay, LINE Pay, WeChat Pay, you mark each payment received, and RSVPlinks never touches the money. Or by card: people pay with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and it's paid out to your bank every Monday. Card payments need a free account and a Stripe setup, and carry a 6% + 50¢ service fee that you choose to pass on or cover.

Is it free?

Yes, with no account, for up to 500 contributions paid to you directly; the payment apps' own rules apply to each transfer. Card payments carry a 6% + 50¢ fee per payment.

Can people chip in without showing their name or amount?

Yes. The organizer decides whether names and amounts show to everyone, and each person can hide their own name. The organizer always sees who gave what, so they can match payments.

How does the progress bar work?

Money the organizer has marked received fills the bar in full color. Contributions people say they've sent show in a lighter band until the organizer confirms them.

Can I add a group gift to a group card or an event?

Yes. On a group card you made, add a gift from the organizer panel, and people sign and chip in from the same link. On an RSVPlinks event, add one from the event dashboard and it shows on your event page.
