What is an animated invitation?

An online invitation that moves: an intro animation plays when a guest opens the link, and a page effect such as confetti or snow keeps moving behind the details. On RSVPlinks the RSVP form is on the same page, so guests read and reply in one place.

Are the animations free?

Yes. All 124 page effects and 89 intro animations are free on every event, including a free event with up to 20 RSVPs. A paid event raises the RSVP limit and adds guest settings; it doesn't unlock designs.

Do guests need an app to open it?

No. Guests open the link in the browser on their phone or computer and RSVP there, with no app and no account.

Can I use a page effect and an intro together?

Yes. Each invitation has one page effect and one intro. In the editor, Effect and Intro sit in the bar above the page, and each design starts with a pair already picked.

Can guests turn the animation off?

A guest can pause the page effect with the button at the bottom left of the page, and skip the intro with a tap, the Skip button or Escape. On a device set to reduce motion, the page shows no effect and the intro becomes a short fade.

Can I change how strong the effect is?

Yes. Visibility (Soft, Normal, Vivid) sets how strongly it shows, and Amount (Fewer, Normal, More) sets how much of it there is.
