Free on every event
A free event check-in app with QR tickets
Send every guest a QR ticket when they RSVP, then scan them in at the door with your phone. Green means let them in, with how many. No app to install, no per-ticket fees.
A ticket for every Going guest
Turn on Tickets and each guest who says yes gets a QR code and a six-digit code by email and on screen.
Back-to-back scanning
The camera stays on. A valid ticket shows green with the number to admit, beeps, and the scanner is ready for the next guest at once.
No double entry
A ticket checks in once. A repeat scan shows amber with when and who let that party in.
Every door, one count
Co-hosts scan from their own phones, and every phone shows the same guests-in count.
Works with what you have
Any phone
iPhone or Android, in the browser. A phone's own camera or any QR app works too.
Scanner guns
USB or Bluetooth 2D scanners in keyboard mode, with no setup.
Other apps
Download the ticket list (CSV) with each QR's text and code.
How it works
- 01Create your event on RSVPlinks and share the RSVP link.
- 02Turn on Tickets in the event's Check in tab. Guests who say yes get a QR ticket by email and on screen; Email tickets sends one to guests who replied earlier.
- 03On the day, open the door scanner on your phone and press Scan with camera.
- 04Hold up each ticket: green shows the name and how many to admit, amber means it was already used. Search by name for anyone without their phone.
Free on every event, from a backyard party to a 500-guest gala
Tickets, the scanner and the ticket list cost nothing. Taking payment with the RSVP is optional.

Questions
Is the check-in app really free?
Yes. QR tickets, the door scanner, search by name and the ticket list download work on every RSVPlinks event, free or paid. There is no per-ticket or per-scan fee.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Each Going guest gets their ticket in the confirmation email and on screen after they reply, as a QR code and a six-digit code. They show it on their phone or print it.
Do I need to install an app to scan tickets?
No. Open the door scanner from your event dashboard in Safari or Chrome on any iPhone or Android phone and allow the camera. You can add it to your home screen for one-tap access.
What happens when someone shows a ticket twice?
The first scan checks the party in. Any later scan shows amber, with the time it was first scanned and who scanned it, so a screenshot shared with a friend can't get two parties in.
Can several people scan at the same door?
Yes. The host and co-hosts with edit access can scan from their own phones at the same time. Every phone shows the same count of guests in, and each ticket checks in only once.
Does it work with a barcode scanner gun?
Yes. Any USB or Bluetooth 2D scanner that types what it reads and presses Enter (keyboard mode) checks guests in on the door scanner page with no setup.
Can I use another check-in app?
Yes. Download the ticket list as a CSV with each guest's name, party size, six-digit code and the exact text their QR code holds, and import it into the app you prefer. A phone's own camera also works: the QR opens your check-in page and checks the guest in.
Can I sell tickets?
You can ask for a fee with each RSVP. By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay it's free to turn on and RSVPlinks charges 6% + 50¢ per payment; by Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or Cash App, guests pay you directly with the RSVP Fee add-on. Paid guests get their ticket with their receipt.
