Tito alternative: RSVPlinks vs Tito

A registration and ticketing platform aimed at technology and business conferences, with an embeddable widget and a developer API. RSVPlinks is an event page and website builder where guests reply, register or buy tickets in their browser, free for up to 20 replies per event and a one-time $7–$39 above that. Choose Tito if you run a tech conference, sell internationally in other currencies, or embed tickets in your own site.

Tito's price: 3% per ticket (2.5% for community and nonprofit events), capped at €25 a ticket, plus gateway fees. No setup fee or subscription, and free events cost nothing.1

Pros and cons

Where Tito does well

  • A low percentage with a cap, so expensive tickets stay cheap to sell.1
  • Tito never holds your money: it goes through your gateway to your bank.1
  • 139 currencies wherever Stripe or PayPal works.1
  • An embed widget in two lines of code.2

Limits Tito states

  • Tito and gateway fees aren't reversed when you refund.3
  • Gateway fees come on top.1

Where RSVPlinks does well

  • An invitation and website design with no code.
  • Sign-up sheets, polls, seating and postcards for the same event.
  • A fee that includes card processing, so there's one bill.
  • Free replies with no payment gateway to set up.

Where RSVPlinks falls short

  • Tickets are new here, with far less history than platforms that have sold for years.
  • Card payments pay out to US bank accounts, in US dollars only.
  • Buyers can't pick a seat on a map: you sell tickets or whole tables, and seat people yourself.
  • Our fee is never refunded, on any path.
  • A first-time seller's money waits until 3 days after the event.
  • No Apple or Google Wallet passes: tickets are a QR in the email, on the web and in a PDF.

A cross means the vendor says it doesn't offer it, or for RSVPlinks that we don't. “Not found” means we looked through its public pricing and help pages and saw nothing either way. It may still exist. A number links to the source.

Our arithmetic from each platform's published rates for a one-ticket order, with Stripe's standard US 2.9% + 30¢ where a platform bills card processing separately. It leaves out tax, currency conversion, monthly plan costs and any custom pricing, and passing a fee to the buyer changes the base slightly. Partiful doesn't publish a rate, so it isn't here.
