Stock per item · One pickup day · 6% + 50¢ per paid item

A pre-order form with a count for every item and one pickup day

For holiday pie, tamale and cookie sales, wreath and Christmas tree fundraisers, and team spirit wear. Each item is a ticket type with its own count, buyers pay ahead, and on pickup day you scan each order as it goes out the door.

A count for every item

Set how many dozens, wreaths or tins you have, and each one shows sold out when it's gone. Cap how many one order can take.

Orders close on time

Set the date sales end, so your bakers and your supplier get a final count. Before sales open, buyers can join a list for one email when they do.

Add-ons at checkout

Salsa, a tree stand, gift wrap or a name on the back, as extras with their own stock, bought with an item.

A promo code

Give members or volunteers a code that takes money off any item. Codes apply to items, not to add-ons.

Pickup, checked off

Each order has a QR code and a code. Scan it at the pickup table from any phone, and your list shows who has collected.

Free giveaways too

A free item with a count, like a client pie pickup, needs no Stripe account.

What each sale costs

The same fee applies to every paid item, whoever pays it. Worked out with the function checkout uses.

ItemYour priceOur feeBuyer pays the fee: they payYou cover it: you receive
Dozen tamales$30$2.30$32.30$27.70
Balsam wreath$35$2.60$37.60$32.40
Cookie tin$30$2.30$32.30$27.70
Spirit tee$20$1.70$21.70$18.30

Paid items don't count against a plan, so a big sale costs only the fee on each item.

How that compares

RSVPlinks sits mid-table, and some tools here cost less. Zeffy costs nothing for registered nonprofits. Read each note: a low rate can come with a monthly price or card processing billed on top. The full breakdown is in our ticketing platform comparison.

The fee on one ticket at four prices, worked out from each platform's published rates.
Platform$10 ticket$25 ticket$50 ticket$100 ticketNote
Zeffy1$0$0$0$0Nonprofits only. Payers are asked for an optional tip
Luma Plus2$0.59$1.03$1.75$3.20Plus $59 a month, billed yearly

Posh9$1.99$3.49$5.99$10.99From Posh's own blog; its pricing page showed no figures

Our arithmetic from each platform's published rates for a one-ticket order, with Stripe's standard US 2.9% + 30¢ where a platform bills card processing separately. It leaves out tax, currency conversion, monthly plan costs and any custom pricing, and passing a fee to the buyer changes the base slightly. Partiful doesn't publish a rate, so it isn't here.

How it works

  1. 01Start from a pre-order template, then save your event. The event date is your pickup day.
  2. 02Set up card payments with Stripe. The money goes to your group's account, not ours.
  3. 03In the Tickets tab, add each item with its price and how many you have, then set when sales close.
  4. 04Share the link. On pickup day, scan each order as it goes out.

Free to set up. 6% + 50¢ per paid item, nothing on free tickets.

Questions

Is it free?

Setting up costs nothing and there's no monthly fee. Each paid item costs 6% + 50¢, the platform and card processing fee, and paid tickets don't count against a plan. Free tickets do: Free for up to 20 registrations per event. Paid plans from $7 per event, one time, up to 1,000.

Can buyers choose a pickup time?

Not with its own limit per window. Ask which window suits them with a question and plan from the list, or make one event per window, each with its own stock.

Can we ship or deliver?

There's no shipping: every order is picked up. If you deliver locally, ask for the address in the form and plan the route from your export.

How do sizes work for spirit wear?

Make one item per product and ask for sizes with a question, or make an item per size when each size has its own count.

Is this cheaper than Zeffy?

No. Zeffy says it charges nonprofits no platform or card fee, and asks payers for an optional tip. If you're a registered nonprofit and low fees come first, start there. RSVPlinks suits a group Zeffy can't take, such as a booster club with no EIN of its own, or one that wants the stock, the pickup scan and the page in one place.

When do we get the money?

Card payments are paid out to your bank every Monday once your balance reaches $25; a smaller balance goes out after 30 days with no new payment. In a month where the fees on your card payments don't cover Stripe's payout costs, the difference (about $3.50 at most) comes out of the payout. "Pay out now" sends your balance any time for $1, from $5. Money from your first ticketed event pays out 3 days after the event. Ticket and RSVP Fee money from a new seller pays out 3 days after the event, until they have sold $250 across 5 payments on finished events.

What can't it do?

There's no pickup window with its own cap, no shipping, and no inventory beyond a count per item: no variants, reorder points or supplier orders. Each event has one pickup day, and charges are in US dollars.
