Sign-up sheets: meal trains, shifts, bring-lists and rides
A sign-up sheet lists the slots you need filled (days, shifts, items or seats) and lets people take them with their name and email. It is free on every event, needs no RSVP, and works on its own without an event too.

Add a sheet to an event
- 1
Open the Sign-up sheets tab
On the event dashboard, open Sign-up sheets and press New sign-up sheet.
- 2
Pick a kind and fill it in
Give it a title, the kind's details and the slots. A sheet takes up to 30 slots on a free event and 100 on a paid one, each with up to 50 spots.
- 3
Guests sign up from the event page
Your page shows a Sign-up sheets block with a Sign up button for each sheet, in your colors and fonts.
- Guests don't need to RSVP first, and they can take spots in several slots.
- Each guest gets a confirmation, a reminder the day before a dated slot, and a link to change or cancel. These count toward the event's guest email allowance.
- The tab shows every sign-up with its email. Remove one, close or reopen the sheet, edit it, or download a CSV.
- A password-protected page (the whole page, its details or its lists) asks for the password before anyone can sign up.
No event? Use the free tool
The free sign-up sheet and meal train work without an account, with up to 60 slots. The browser you make it in is the organizer; copy the organizer link or give your email to manage it from another device, and you'll get a daily note when people sign up or cancel. A sheet is deleted 30 days after its last date.
Common questions
- How is this different from the Sign-Up List?
- The Sign-Up List lives on the RSVP form: each guest picks one item while replying, and it comes with paid plans. Sign-up sheets are free, separate from the reply, take dates and times, and let anyone with the link take as many spots as they like.
- Who sees the emails?
- Only you and your co-hosts. Other guests see names and notes.
- Can two people take the last spot?
- No. The second one is told the spot just went and can pick another.
