Group cards: one card everyone signs

A group card is one card many people sign for one person: a retirement, a farewell, a birthday, a get-well or a thank you. Everyone opens the same link and adds a message (and, on an unlocked card, a photo), with no account. It is free up to 15 posts, on every event or on its own.

Make a card

  1. 1

    Start the card

Open the free group card tool (or the birthday or retirement version), pick the occasion, and type who it is for. Pick one of 12 templates (colors, fonts and background art) and an opening animation; the occasion picks a match to start.

  2. 2

    Share the link

Send the card's link to everyone who should sign. Nobody needs an account or an app.

  3. 3

    Keep your organizer link

The browser you made it in is the organizer. Copy the organizer link to manage the card from another device, or give your email and we'll send it, with a daily note when new posts arrive.

Add a card to an event

On the event dashboard, open Group card and make the card there. It is free on every event, one card per event. Your event page shows a Sign the card block, in your colors, linking to the card, so guests can sign without RSVPing first. A page locked by its password (whole, details or lists) hides the block until it is unlocked.

Moving to an event card keeps everything in one place: the card goes when the event does.

What signers do

  • Add a post: a name and a message of up to 1,000 characters (one link at most), and on an unlocked card one photo.
  • Pick a color for the initial beside their name, react to posts with one of six emoji, and edit or delete their own post from the browser they wrote it in.
  • Photos have their location data removed and are checked by an automated filter. A flagged post waits for you to approve it.

As organizer you can hide, show or delete any post, close the card to new posts, edit it, or delete it.

Give it to the recipient

Copy the recipient's private link and send it yourself, or have us email it: right away from any card, or at a time you pick on an unlocked card. A card is emailed at most 2 times, 3 days apart. Their link opens the card without an Add post button. The recipient's email and yours are never shown to signers.

Common questions

Do signers need an account?
No. They open the link and add a name and a message, plus a photo on an unlocked card.
Who can see the emails?
No one but you. Signers never see the recipient's email or the organizer's.
What happens to a free card I forget about?
A standalone card that was never unlocked is deleted 12 months after its last post or edit, photos included. An unlocked card, and an event's card, stay until deleted.
